Nancy Witt
NANCY WITT — Nancy Witt is a local, very well-known artist from Ashland, Virginia. This painting is dated 1991-92 and is titled SHASTAS IN A WINDOW. It is 31x41 and is pictured in her book "On Alternate Days", dated 1995.
Nancy Witt received her B.A. degree from Old Dominion University and her M.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been featured in over 50 one-person shows and has won numerous awards. She is in the collections of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and Zurich, The Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC as well as Phillip-Morris and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, VA.
