JEFF WILLIAMS — For over a decade now, the Paintings of
Atlanta based Artist Jeff Williams have been Inspired
by the Formal and Flamboyant Life Style of the Art Deco Era.
Jeff Williams hase in some ways Mirrored His own Life. Growing up with Five Older Sisters, he has an incredible Eye for Style and Design. This is most evident in the Intricate Detail of the Elaborate Ensembles he Creates for the Ladies in his Paintings. Often using Real Three Dimensional Objects such as Vintage Jewelry, Glass Beads and Fringe, his “Ladies” are Beyond Decadent!
Not Unlike His Multi-Faceted Personality, Jeff Williams' Images range from Brightly Colored Galas to Sultry Sophisticated Scenes captured in more Subdued Palettes. After Time spent in Europe, being influenced by works by The Old Masters, he began using stain washes. This Technique has added more Depth and Intensity to His Work. Whether Brightly Colored Exuberance or Subdued Elegance, Jeff’s Paintings always Reflect “La Bonne Vie”, The Good Life !
Although Formally Trained at the Art Institute of Atlanta, He has been Painting since Childhood. Jeff Williams has participated in Many Fine Arts Festivals throughout the United States, as well as Group and One Man Shows. His Work is now mainly found in Galleries or in Private Collections.
Jeff Williams has been featured in Magazines such as Florida Designs, Palm Beach & Naples Times of Florida, Jezebel, Airtran Magazine and High Class Living Magazine of New Jersey.
