Carmela and Tony Wengraitis
CARMELA AND TONY WENGRAITIS — A New York native and a 20 year veteran of the design industry, Carmela has designed residential and commercial projects across the East Coast and the Caribbean. After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design, and spending 2 more years preparing for the exams, Carmela went on to acquire the coveted NCIDQ certification (National Council for Interior Design Qualification).
Having worked in hospitality design for one of the top 100 Giants of Design while in Philadelphia and as Project Manager for an award-winning Multi-Family commercial design firm in DC, she now specializes in residential and light commercial design with a focus on the kitchen and bath. Carmela currently serves on the board of the local Richmond Chapter of the IFDA, International Furnishings and Design Association.
Co-Founder and concrete artisan Anthony Wengraitis has over 25 years in the building and construction trades. His years of experience in the granite countertop fabrication and underwater concrete construction industries lend themselves perfectly to the art and science that is decorative concrete. Both companies’ work have recently been highlighted in several editions of House Trends, Women’s Day, and R.Home Magazine.
