Sherwin Ghaphery
SHERWIN GHAPHERY — Sherwin Ghaphery’s travels inspire her to capture the people and places she visits. “I enjoy letting the paint flow over the canvas – giving life again to what I have experienced.”
Beginning drawing at the age of nine, she continued her formal education earning a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sherwin is a resident of Richmond, Virginia, where she is a member of the Bon Air Artists Association and the University Painters. Her award-winning work can be seen at various exhibits throughout Richmond.
