MHOLLAND ART — The MHolland signature is shared by four women. It is unique in the fact that it shared by an artist mother and her three daughters, working together on one body of art. Mary, Holly, Marney and Temple are individually different, yet they paint in harmony to create art with no single author.

Each painting is a shared project. With such diverse artistic visions and individual influences they enjoy a developed range of styles and genres. Subjects include animals, still lifes, and landscapes, captured in photo-realistic, abstract, impressionist, and pop-art paintings. They work in acrylics and oils using rich tones and a technique of underpainting and glazing as done by the old masters. Their creations are highly contrasted in hue, texture, light and shadow. Their work has been described as compelling as photography, without the harshness of reality - a richness achieved through careful color application lending to a certain depth and presence.

Their combined artistic careers span over 40 years and the MHolland team has enjoyed much success since the start of their official collaboration in 2002. The world wide web provides new opportunities in the promotion and sale of art and as a result over 100 of their works of art sold in 2003 alone.

They paint in their studios in United States and in Switzerland to meet US and European demands.
