"The design elements in my work reflect the unique qualities of freedom that are purely instinctual to the horse's soul. All of my horses are shown in their natural state, away from human contact; there are intentionally no bridles, saddles, riders or fences. My paintings are descriptive of the horse in his environment, not ours. I try to capture the heart and soul of the horse and hope that an audience can look at my work and see the pure expression of freedom within the horse.
