ANNA BARBUGGIANI — Anna Maria Barbuggiani is an Italian artist who recently relocated to Northern Virginia. She has studied at the National Italian Art Institute in Verona, Italy, her hometown, and then refined her technique in the studios of renowned Italian artists.
Anna Barbuggiani loves to capture the beauty of nature in her paintings. Her subjects range from mysterious and deep visions of Venetian villas, enchanting landscapes filled with greens and golden woods, bright landscapes full of the summer colors, to water scenes with singing streams.
The always-present light is the common feature to her art. Such light generates from an endless inner strength able to create visions combining nature and dreams, high-class pictorial technique and creative spirit, reality and artistic creations.
It is difficult nowadays to find such an exceptional artist. We often view works by artists with an appreciable technique and without inspiration; on the other hand artists with inspiration lack the technique to transfer their artistic ideas into canvas.
