ONYEKA IBE

Chasen Galleries introduces an exciting artist, new to our gallery. Nigerian-born Painter, Onyeka Ibe (pronounced ebay) Onyeka Ibe has achieved remarkable success and international recognition with his dramatic approach to painting figures and sceneries. He was recently awarded "The Best SOLO Artist of the Year 2006" at Artexpo New York. He looks for inspiration in natural and humanistic traditions of contemporary realism and abstraction. His paintings express the entire spectrum of nature; human emotions from exhilaration and cheerfulness to contentment.
